Individual sessions run 30 to 60 minutes depending on the package. Team shoots run around 15 minutes per person, so a team of 10 takes roughly two and a half hours including setup. We never feel rushed: there's always enough time to settle, relax, and get natural, confident photos.

Individual sessions with Mays Headshots start from £150. Packages vary by session length and the number of retouched images included. Team and office shoot pricing is per person, with quotes available for groups of 26 or more. Full pricing is on our Pricing page with no hidden extras.

Wear what you'd choose for an important client meeting or professional event. Solid colours photograph better than busy patterns, stripes, or branded logos, which pull the eye away from your face. Bring two or three outfit options so we can create variety during the session without a full wardrobe change each time.

Business professional or smart casual, depending on your industry. What matters is that you look the way a potential client or employer would expect you to look. Avoid anything you wouldn't wear to a meeting. Navy, charcoal, burgundy, and white all photograph particularly well against standard studio backgrounds.

Yes, we recommend it. Bringing two or three tops, including a jacket or blazer as one option, gives you range across different looks without adding much time. Even swapping a collar style or layering a jacket over the same top reads as a completely different shot in the final images.

That depends on your package. Starter packages include 2 fully retouched images. Premium packages deliver up to 4 retouched images across multiple looks. You'll review all usable shots from the session and choose your favourites for retouching, so you always control what gets delivered rather than receiving a set of pre-selected images.

Retouched files are delivered within 48 hours of image selection. If you need photos faster for a job start date, a conference, or a press deadline, ask about our rush turnaround option when booking and we'll do everything we can to accommodate you.

Yes, professional retouching is included in every package. We remove temporary blemishes, smooth skin texture lightly, clean up stray hairs, and correct colour or exposure issues. We don't alter the way you look: the aim is a polished, natural result that still looks exactly like you walking through a door.
